    I use the VE Pro in Standalone on my Slave PC.

    Can I change the basic tempo manually, to sync au plugins as Omnisphere to a given tempo ?

    All plugs seems to run at 120. They have to get this info from somewhere, am I right ?

    I don't want tu use VE Pro Server, latency is too big for me.

    I have done some research and I don't think there is any way to set tempo in standalone. It is an oversight that I hope will be corrected. The best would be some midi-based means of transmitting tempo to a slave machine, but failing that, a manual button (like Kontakt since early days) would be fine. Unfortunately VE Pro (as great as it is) actually blocks access in PLAY to the tempo settings for individual patches; these are available in PLAY standalone.

    You can set the tempo in standalone since VE Pro 5. It's one of the many new features.
