Hi sirbellog,

Well, this question came faster than we expected.
There is no official schedule but VSL is not going on summerholidays in July. [Wink]
More detailed information will follow soon. We don"t want our users to starve Big Smile

Best wishes, Anna

Good to hear. Now it only remains to know if the postponed summer holidays are going to be used to prepare the release or to count the sales money Wink

And so it continues - the taunting, the torture. I must ceaselessly toss and turn on my bed, dreaming, seeing Herb approaching with shiny DVDs in his hand, offering them then withdrawing them as I reach out desperately, hearing his laughter echoing in the darkness, awakening suddenly with a gasp, cold sweat glistening on my feverish brow as I murmur over and over the agonizing question...

when is the release date of the Chamber Strings? when is it... when is it... when is it....

Indeed.
But somehow you need to know how much you have to re-invest, right? Wink

Can we have some price indications? Surely this information is already known to some extent?

If the price turns out to be a bit higher in a month or so nobody will be as upset as we would with product delays. Big Smile

I would be interested in knowing how much the Epic Horns will go for, and the french oboe set. This way I can put some money asside if necessary. Smile

Anna,

You forgot to place the Saxophones 2 box in the coming soon section. [Wink] I can't wait to have a full selection of saxophones, but I'll settle for coming "in a little while". Any word on these?

i've make a calculation ...

the brass/woodwinds costs 990 dollars, divided by 11 (instruments) = 90 dollars per instruments.
But there are some performance elements included so we add 70-90 dollars ..... ~~180 dollars for Epic Horn for example.

Yay! A 24-bit stereo singing saw with 16 velocity layers and legato! That must have a huge market!

Sorry, couldn't resist Smile

16 layers might be sufficient, but I also insist on alternate bowings. I refuse to use a sampled saw that has the machine gun effect on repeated attacks.

No way.

Do you see normal saws singing everyday? Not a chance. A singing saw is a specially and exclusively selected saw. Perhaps one in a million.

I'm starting to think that 16 velo layers won't be enough to make it inmortal [Wink]

Big Smile HEHEHE!! you're kidding? Big Smile I have played on a regular saw, a kind of saw you penetrate wood with Big Smile hehehe. It's incredibly hard but you get the hang of it if you practice though. Big Smile I only played for 5 minutes. And the guy who taught me how to play it played the norwegian national anthem! hehehe. using the saw and a thin plank.
