  • Suggestion re: humanize attack pitch variations

    I think it would be a good idea to block the pitch variations when the note being played is the same as the previous note.  The attack pitch variations sometimes sound plain wrong when playing repeated notes of the same pitch.

    I don't suppose there's a command that will accomplish this, i.e., prevent the pitch variation on one specific note?

  • There must be a way to automate the humanize function... it's a workaround anyway that you could also just draw in the humanize slider to zero for the repeated notes, or at least dial it down.


  • Yes, just set a controller for the humanize slider, and move it down. Or make sure that you have more than one humanize preset, because AFAIK they always cycle through, so as long as you have many different variations, you won't get the same one twice in a row.
