I have the Orchestral Cube. First Edition Giga Format. Is this edition compatible with MAC? I have been trying to convert the .gig files to play on the EXS24 with no luck. It appears that the iMac does not recognize the Giga format. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello jorel,

A lot has happened since the First Edition. As it was designed for GigaStudio exclusively, you can really only use it in GigaStudio.

The only alternative back then was the EXS 24 version (a separate product, that was sold out about 6 or 7 years ago), but by now Apple has decided to drop the Performance Tool support for EXS24....

My suggestion: Check out the Special Editions, they come with a great software and many more instruments in 24 bit quality!

You could try G-Player or Linuxsampler. Google them for more info.
