    VE needs a working gigabyte connection and that's it? You don't need to set up a network? That would be great. Or does one need to set up a homme group network? Similar to what you had to do with FXT?

    Well i have a network now and i can share files from 1 systen to an other. What i did is connect my gigsabyte swicth to my router to enable that network. I've disconnected my router after since i don't want my daw and slaves connected to the net all the time. Network seem to be working still. Not perfect but it's working. Now before i install VE Pro, I'd like to make sure i got everything right.  And i was wondering if i should use fix ip adresss? Is that better for a set up like mine? I could use some help since I'm not very good with network etc...

    My daw and 2 slaves run win7 x64 and i have to more slaves running xp 32bit.

    Ok here's something I'd really like to know. Can one load a template, let's say in Kontakt, and once the sound are all loaded still be able to use that templates? the reason is i have a forth slave I'd like to use.

    I'd really like to get an answer so i don't buy a usb card for nothing and to a void a big crash like i had yesterday when i tried to load a new preset in Vi with my dungle unpluged.

    P.S. I gave VE Pro server a quick run yesterday and I'm impress by the results so far.
