    Hi folks

    It would be cool to listen to patches before I load them in a matrix cell only to have to delete if its not the desired patch. I can imagine just using the arrow down key and running thru the patches at a quick rate. Talking about Vienna Instrument. VI or VIP.

    While I'm at it.[H]

    I just went thru the whole VEP manual looking for info on automation but came up with nada. Is this a feature and if so, any directions?

    Sorry to say that this is not possible in VI or VI PRO.

    Thanks Paul. Now that I think about it, it makes sense. It would have to load every sample to hear it.

    Can you give me some info on automation? I didn't see anything in the manual but I read a review that included the word automation for VEP.

    Hi Mike, 

    You can automate channel volumes, sends 1-4 and pan in VE PRO 4 (the current version). 

    The upcoming VE PRO 5 will have full automation implemented. VE PRO 5 is expected within the next 3 months.

    Did I miss the instructions in the manual? I looked thru the VEP manual but did not see any reference. It's a send I would like to automate. If you could point me in the right direction?

    Mike: You can automate Vol, Pan and Sends 1-4 for every VE Pro Channel directly in the Plugin Automation of your VE Pro Track in Logic
