A couple of days ago, my Vienna Suite Convolution Reverb suddenly stopped outputting Wet signal. Presets load, dry signal passes through but there's no impulse signal coming out.

I've tried installing the last few versions of Vienna Suite with no change.  This behaviour occurs in Pro Tools 8 and in Vienna Ensemble Pro. Hybrid works fine in both.

It's like there are no IRs present.  Is it possible they've become unlinked some how?

Running Pro Tools LE 8.0.3sc2 on 8-core Mac Pro, OSX 10.6.7, 24gB RAM.

Suggestions appreciated.

HJT

What happens if you load a fresh impulse from the Presets menu? I find that the presets get lost quite often, and i have to load an impulse manually, close the plug, re-open the plug and then it all comes back as it should. However, I've only just got into using the convolution reverb, so I may just be screwing it up myself.

Thanks for your suggestion.  It wan't the solution, but it prompted me to look at the GUI more closely. Turns out to be a latency issue.  When the Latency is set to 0, there is no sound.  When the Latency is set to any other value, it works fine. Mystery solved! HJT

The original thread was about Vienna Suite's Convolution Reverb, your questions refers to MIR Pro, if I'm not mistaken.

Just to make sure that there's no misunderstanding: In MIR Pro's Preferences, the latency (a.k.a. "Buffer") is set to a value higher than zero? Some users look at their audio system's driver settings only, that's why I dare to ask. :-)

Hi Kamil,

sorry that you're facing problems. Please send your system's technical details and some screenshots of MIR Pro's Main GUI, its Preferences (and ideally its routing within your DAW / VE Pro (?), too) to . VSL Support team will look into it ASAP.

Thanks for your patience!
