    Hi, Can someone confirm if Aria-Multi 32 or 64 bit VST versions are working fine with respect to being able to assign output channels? Reason I ask is that I can't get Aria to let me change the default output assignment from 1/2. All other output channels are not selectable. I'm pretty sure I had it working fine on some Protools sessions some months ago. Now when I playback in Protools, all instruments loaded in the Aria Multi version are playing back through channel 1/2. In order to troubleshoot this, ( read the manual - yes ) and I have created a simple one instrument project in Protools with one instance VEPro with 1 Aria Multi and I still can't get to be able to pick different channel per instrument. Further testing - Aria multi works ok as RTAS in Protools and also works ok as VST inside VSThost. For some reason VEPro seems to ignore "multi". Is there some trick to get VEPro to notice that Aria is a multi? Alain

     I'm assuming that Aria is some sort of sample player. In Kontakt you have to use audio input and route internally. I would suggest that you contact the developer of Aria, because if VE pro is a supported host, they should be able to tell you how it is done in their sample player.

    Thanks DG. I've done that. I hope I get a response soon. I posted here because I'm pretty certain now that it was working and now it's not. The only thing that's changed is the latest update of VEPro. I was hoping that someone could suggest some troubleshooting tips. Alain

    I have no idea what the current status is, but as of a year ago or so, Aria was one of the formats that was not supported within VE Pro, IIRC.  Perhaps that has changed.

    In the meantime you could use more than one instance of the Aria Player in VE Pro and assign them to different busses.

    I know that the multi version of ARIA behaves in a strange way.  The routing of the signals is complicated because the "effects" are always sent to output 1/2.

    There is no way to disable this.  The end result is that you can't assign 16 channels of output to correspond to the 16 separate instruments.  You can only really use 15 channels.  Aria is the only device that does this so I suspect it isn't fully compliant as noldar12 mentioned in his post to me.

    I've done further testing.  Moved the VST to the desktop to ensure that I only had one version of the plugin.  I've posted the Log file from Aria instance being started in Protools - VEPro below.  It was clearly started as a Mult-VST instance by me,  but the log file seems to imply that the exchange between host and VST thinks it's a simple stereo instrument.

    Any luck getting Aria Player Multi to work with multi out in VEP??

    I am running a demo of VEP6 and latest AriaPlayer without any luck
    to get multi out from AriaPlayer.
