    VE Pro 5 will not find my VI pro to load as an instrument - it just comes up with the old  standard VI - and there is not way of choosing VI Pro.  Any idea how I solve this problem anyone?

    Make sure you have installed VI Pro after upgrading VE Pro.

    As DG says, you will need to install VI Pro 2 separately. With VE Pro 4, VIPro was provided with the installer, but with VEPro5, we have decided to split the installers up, so to get VIPro running in VEPro5, you also need to run the VIPro installer.
