    hi,

    i can't get any sound out of the new VI Pro 2 - i can see the sound playing on the meters on output 1/2, but i can't hear or see anything on pro tools mixer.

    my system configuration is: MAC PRO Quad Core, 8 GB Ram, OS 10.6.4, ProTools 9.05

    anyone else has this problem?

    Hi , I have the same problem but with the VE Pro 5 latest build (5.0.9687) - no sound in Pro Tools HD 9 on Mac . Previous build (5.0.9637) works . Probably there is something wrong with Rtas on Mac with both .

    Same problem here in Pro Tools 10 with Previously created sessions after upgrade with from 9637 to 9687.

    A bug has crept into 9687 that causes this. It only happens with RTAS versions. A new version will arrive asap. Very sorry for the inconvenience.

    Hi Karel,

    I need to deliver a project quickly. I runned the uninstaller for VI and VE and restart. But the 9637 won't let me install ''on a disk that contains a newer version''

    Do you have any workaround?

    Yes, delete all VE Pro related files in the "/Library/Receipts" folder. The VE Pro uninstaller already does this though, unless you renamed the .pkg before installing perhaps?

    Exactly,

    I always add the version number on the installer for my archives.

    There's a new build that fixes the issue available from your user area instead.
