Hi. This is probably a very easy question but I'm not too savvy so instead very careful! In my VIDirectory Manager, #57 for Trombone Bass appears in red. It does not appear in my patch list in VIPro2. Obviously it did now download properly and I only just noticed. I have the boxed DVDs; bass trombone is part of the BrassII collection and has 3 discs. Do I re-install all 3? I installed originally over a year ago so do not remember all the steps. Thanks for helping! Leona

Hi Leona, red registries show that the sample content is not available. Please locate the sample content folder (maybe it is on a disconnected harddrive?) and add it again. With the next start of the Directory Manager it should be there, and when you start Vienna Instruments the next time, it will be available. If for some reason you have deleted the sample content, you can easily download and install it again from the User Area with our Download Manager, this will automatically add the sample content to the Directory Manager. Best, Paul

Thank you, Paul, but I still don't understand. Sorry. My products are NOT download instruments but DVDs. The bass trombone is not in my VSL sample content library, which is on a partitioned drive on my MacPro 8-core. Thank you, Leona

Hi Leona, Sorry, I overread the DVD part. If the sample content is not available anymore and you don´t have a backup, you´ll need to install the VI Collection again, that´s correct. It could also be that your hard-drive is not working properly anymore. Did you check? To install the content again, download all the latest VSL Software and latest eLCC. Then start the Library Installer, insert DVD#1 and follow the instructions. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Paul

They also show up in red if your elicensor isn't seeing the license for that package (I tested it by taking out my elicensor and all my directories went red like yours). Maestro2be

I just checked my Directory Manager, and all of my sample libraries appear in RED, but when I scroll down, they are also listed in black. The instruments are playing fine. Should I have a RED list?

I'd remove all red entries. They probably refer to some old location of your libraries.
