    Hi,

    I'd like to route midi events through the old performance tool before they reach

    an instance of G-Player hosted by Vienna Ensemble Pro.

    With VE Pro in standalone mode and an extern midi inport this is no problem, as long as

    some virtual midi ports are available in the system providing the connection from the

    performance tool to the vst plugin. This way I can use repetition and legato performances

    of some older vienna horizon libraries (in gigasampler format).

    Using the VE Pro- server I cannot find an option to route the midi events out of the

    server instance to a virtual midi port (or the performance tool).

    Is there any way to do this?

    If you are using VE PRO as a plug-in, this is not possible.

    what a pity!

    This would be a useful feature, also for routing midi to a standalone

    version of VE pro at the same time for example... (in case of incompatibilities

    of a plugin with the server version (see my other post))...

    It's very cumbersome that I have to buy MOL or a hardware midi interface for this purpose,

    although VE Pro provides an excellent midi transmisson between the machines.

    Could you take it on the wish list?
