    After trying VE Pro 5 for a month, I decided to change back to VE Pro 4, I love the new features but I never got the automation part to work properly like in VE Pro 4

    I'm just having an issue with the new way of runing an extra intance for the automation because I use the multiinstrumet object in Logic Enviroment and conect it to and audio instrumet which makes more sense to me. Since Im in the middle of a TV show is hard to find the time to get it to work. I'm currently using a Mac Pro 2.66Ghz 12 core with 48gigs RAM 4 600gig WD Velo as a slave, a Mac Pro 2.93 Ghz 8 core for ProTools HD 4 for mixing with( 3 )192 io 1 analog 16 x 16, 2 Digital 32 x 32 adat lightpipe and some plugs loaded to VE Pro and a 2.26Ghz 8 core with 12 Gig of RAM for Logic Pro 9 and DP 7.24(depending on the job and my mood!)with 2 2408 Mk III which I use just as a sequencer and a bunch of EXS 24. So it's a pain to go back an forth to change my main template.Thanks and sorry to reply so late, it's been a tough month

    There is no reason to revert to VE Pro 4 for that though. VE Pro 5 still works exactly the same as VE Pro 4 if you don't use the extra features. The manual as well as the software is on the verge of updating, so hopefully that will clarify things for you a bit more.

    That's great, I did a major upgrade in my studio and I should have a couple of weeks off, I;ll be adding 48 channels of digital io between my Logic system and my ProTools HD4 system. I only thing I would love to see is to be able to have 2 licenses with Vienna Dimension Brass,Cube etc, So I can have more flexibilty with the sample Libraries. East West started to do that, See you at Namm!!!
