    hi folks. anyone else had this?

    in windows 7 64bit, when i scan for plugins, 32bit ve pro 5 crashes when it finds my two ilok plugins - electric keys and play 32bit. 

    i'm therefore unable to use these plugins in 32bit mode. anyone had this or know a workaround?

    hi, did you ever get any assistance with this, i have so money issues with ilok and vepro 5. ilok crashes vepro requesting authorisation, bsod....you name it! sometimes it works great, then out of the blue or after installing a new plug everything gets a little wonky!

    Welcome golddust, 

    we´re using eLicenser keys. Would be interesting to know more about your setup (OS, used sequencer, used versions of eLCC and VSL Software). 

    We´re working on improving the hangs that can oocur with eLicensers. One of the tricks for me is to never launch many applications at the same time (it confuses the license calls).

    Make sure to use the latest version of VE Pro 5, because it fixes crashes with 32-bit iLok plugins.

    I'm on Windows 7 HP 64bit SP1, intel i7 930, 12gb ram. Cubase 6.5.1 latest VEPRO. Just doing some reinstalls so I'll see of cleaning out some loose files will help. My main problem with VEPRO is that I often get asked to register my ilok plugs when using Cubase & VEPRO, and if it is a plug like RELAB LX 480 it can sometimes Blue Screen. This occurs mostly when I use ilok plugs within VEPRo. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

    Paul, I have the latest versions of ilok 2, elcc, vepro, Cubase, Windows.....waves 9 r2/Sonnox/Soundtoys etc. Waves plugs are now loading a blank gui in vepro. if i start vepro before Cubase then load a project in Cubase that uses ilok plugs it will generally cause a crash/license request of some sort. i did have it working nicely for a while without having to load it after Cubase....installed a new Waves plug and some new Antares plugs and it started up again. cheers.
