Man, I've been waiting on this for weeks... can't wait till its released.
I have a client that is using Logic for this very reason, and it has been a complete nightmare. Do we have to wait for the new build, or are you going to release the Multiport update when it's ready...?

Does anybody know the status of this? has it been resolved? I am unable to get the multport layer to work without hanging notes and notes not being played.

Use Event input last version, since the previous version it has improved. Other solution is to use IAC !

I'm familiar with the event input, but don't know how to use it to et Logic's multiport running properly. Nor do I know what IAC is.

Hi Users, hi VSL-Staff!

I truely love to work with the Multiport Layer if there wouldn't be this horrible hanging-notes-problem.

I took notice that the problem is only appearing when there are a lot of notes to play...

Did anything progress in terms of updates or workarounds?

My host is a Mac Pro which is connected to a PC (via VEPro 5 and ethernet).

Is IAC also suitable for non Mac-Mac connections?

Is it possible to integrate the IAC-idea into the Multiport Layer setup (Environment) customized by the VSL-guys?

Setting up my Logic Session with the recommended Multiport Layer took me a lot of time...

Yes it will only allow on line bouncing. For me it is not a big deal, I hate those pop and clicks and hanging notes !

It is up to you to decide what you prefer !

I have made a trial to put Logic on my old 8 core Mac and VSL on my 12 core I have been using Event input ! NO PROBLEM !

With 2 Mac you can use Network Midi  (it's the same as IAC but on a network), I have no idea if it will be working with a MAC and PC

Also yo must not dream ! I have a 12 core Mac with 2 x Xeon AND A RAID OF SSD, you cannot expect to do the same with an 2010/2011 I5 or I7

If you see a bench that compare 2012 I7 to 2010 Xeon I will be very happy to read it
