Stuck notes Digital Performer - VE PRO 64 Server Slaves - MIDI Port 3 stuck

Hi,

I have read the thread but I can't tell if the bug is fixed or if there is a work around. 

I am getting stuck notes using VE PRO 64 Server. The Server is on a slave machine. My host machine is running Digital Performer. All Macs 10.6.8. All latest OS and Versions.

I get the stuck notes only on MIDI Port 3 inside VE PRO 63 Server. If I change to Port 1 the stuck notes go. My instances of VE PRO are large - each with about 10-12 channels.

They are an accumulating style of stuck note. Each note that is triggered adds to the stuck notes that are sounding - but only for one instrument that is on Port 3 on the server. Instrument happens to be Play.

A client of mine has had the same troubles and he is also on Snow Leopard.  I've had no such problems with monster templates using Lion.  After extensive trouble shooting of the issue I think it's OS related.

Did you try with last version of VI delivered last Friday, on Logic side there is a lot of improvement

the problem was with Vienna Ensemble, not Vienna Instruments

I've been having exactly the same problem using DP with Vienna Ens Pro server for years. It started with DP 7, which I abandoned in favor of Protools. I just installed DP 8.04 hoping that the newer version worked better but it doesn't. I don't have the issue with Protools or Logic 10. However I would rather use DP but it is unusable as long as this issue persists. MOTU tech support has no clue why this happens.

Same problem here. I've posted it a while and Vienna is aware of it. Not sure where they are with it. I was just refreshing my post and found this thread.

In DP can you use IAC ports ?

If yes do a trial with them.
