VE running Windows Plug-Ins on Mac

There are a lot of plugins out there that only work for Windows. The problem is that I use a Mac. With Ensemble Pro would I be able to run those desired plugins? Thanks

Hello beyondthestars, 

If you add a PC to your setup and connect via Vienna Ensemble PRO, you have access to these plug-ins and can use them with your arranegement on the Mac, yes. 

But "PC-Plug-ins" will still work on Windows exclusively.

 Paul, if I may I should like to ask the opposite question. I am planning to use my current MacPro as a slave once I have installed a new more powerful pc to run VI and VEP (on Cubase). Will I still be able to use the Mac plugins (Logic) on my Mac slave?

Hi Roy, 

The plug-ins you find in a package with Logic will "only" work in Logic (they are connected to the host by design, like plug-ins that come with other sequencers). 

VE PRO comes with 3 licenses, so you can use the best of both worlds by using VE PRO on both platforms. 

You can always check it out with a free demo license of VE PRO 5 (click "try")!
