First of all thanks for the new double microphone setups, they are terrific! The system: logic 9 running on a mac pro with a VisionDAW slave attached running MIR PRO 5. I downloaded the Venue presets and placed them on the desktop the the VisionDAW machine. 1.If I open the MIR PRO5 I get the usual window in which I can select a saved metaframe, but there is not a path to the folder on the desktop containing the venue presets. I tried to place the venue presets in the folder containing the saved metaframes but they do not show up in the list of saved metaframes. 2. I tried the double click on the venue preset to open it directly. the venue opens , but the audio engine does not boot. What am I missing? Thanks, Stephen W. Beatty

Hi Stephen, actually I don't know what can go wrong in that respect. Technically, Venue Presets are just simple VI Frames - nothing fancy. After unZIPping the downloaded data, you should be able to load them by means of the "File > Open Project"-command, which is accessible from VE Pro's main menu. Kind regards,

Hi Dietz, I hope you don't mind me tagging on a quick question. I am reinstalling all VSL onto a new pc.Everything works except that MIR is not finding the room tones (which I have downloaded the latest version) Please advise where they should be installed. Many thanks, Roy

Hi Roy, the RoomTones are an integrated part of MIR Venues, so as along as you have installed a RoomPack, the RoomTone will be there, too. Maybe you just need to add a RoomTone-channel to your VE Pro project? There's a Preference to do this automatically with every new project, or you can do it manually. You will find it in the same menu you would use for adding a Vienna Instrument. HTH,

Hi Roy, You're welcome! Great to hear that you're up and running. Would you mind to give us a short description what the actual problem was, and how you solved it? Thx! Kind regards,
