I have an old project that I am trying to get up and running using VEP 5 and Logic 9.1.7. I have used the VEP multiport solution to only have one instance of VEP 5. I am having trouble with the routing on the Logic arrange page. I have used the media window to assign ports and midi channels for my project, same ports and channels in the mixer of VEP 5 (1 intrument track with VEP 5 enabled and 68 External midi tracks). Also there are some strange volume behaviors such as the volume slider changing on the intrument track when I do not have any midi volume changes on it. My questions are as follows:
- What do I set the port to in the inspector for each external midi tracks and the instrument track?All? or some other port?
- How do you automate volume in the mixer of VEP 5 from the logic arrange page?
- What could be causing the volume slider movement on the instrument track?
