Hello,

I have question about Jazz Drums single Instrument:

- Is that the same one that was bundle with Vienna Suite few years ago?

If different or more advance, please tell me more what has improved compare to the original one.

Thanks

Sonny

And I'll add to that question:  Are jazz drum users from the Vienna Suite purchase entitled to the midi loops?  Seems to me the original jazz d video talked about future expansion of midi loops.  I hope these are accesable for us.  I'd love to use them .

Thanks!  Tom

Hey guys, just go have a look! I had the previous version, and I see the new files in my user area.

The difference with the previous "Bonus version" and the official released version are the dedicated Matrices & Presets for VI PRO including the MIDI loops.

The good news, anybody who has a registered "Jazz Drums - Bonus Library" should have access to all actual datas in the USER AREA:

http://www.vsl.co.at/en/68/498/1575/1610.htm

There are two downloads files for the Jazz Drums available:

- Jazz Drums - Library Download

- Jazz Drums Projects - VIFrames and MIDI Files v.1

best

Herb

Hi friends,

how many MIDI-loops do you get that way?

Thanks Herb - you and the VSL team are the best!

Just checking - if we already have the original bonus Jazz Drums, do we still need to download all the Library files? Is it these that contain the stuff for VI Pro?

Never mind...

I downloaded the new Library files and see all the new Matrices - thanks again to VSL.

Hi Drew,

If you have the Jazz Drums registered and are logged in with your account, you should see all details here.

Please write an email to in case the problem persists.

is there a possibility to load the complete jazz drum kit into one patch without the vienna ensemble?

Hi Saxer!

It is possible to load the General MIDI set to one instrument. The full drum set can only be loaded with VE to several instruments.

Best regards,
Andi

This is a great gift; I noticed the files in my user area a week or two ago and downloaded them, but it seemed the samples were the same so I was already pretty sure the difference was in the programming.

I have been recommending these to people for years, hoping they'd come up for actual sale.

The only problem I had with the original set was that it was difficult to get usable volume without adding gain -- and this is coming from someone who typically records at -24 dB down from full scale!

I haven't had a chance to use the new matrices/presets/etc. yet, as I'm in the middle of moving from an apartment to a house (where I can set up a proper studio -- yay!).
