  • Need some criticism please

Smiling face, clear skies, happy clouds, sun rising, fresh air

  • Welcome!

I won't criticize anything by anyone. In fact I learned a few things about myself. Not that my ears are very poor (I knew that, as I knew that my musical ideas are so brilliant that completely obfuscate that fact), but that ultimately it doesn't matter how much effort I have put into the Emperor's New Clothes and still nobody can see them. It is enough that I see them!...

  • Well said ericos, as usual.. It also might be of some significance that the emperor needs to be tested of all the scales, fingering and coherent understanding of the musical concept before receiving royalties. And the religous kingdom is not of this world... Wait a minute here, we're the only planet on this universe. So how could they be not of this world? Why you ericos ! ... yank yank yank. Moe knows everything. I'm going to ask him, and will get back with you... Wop ap ap ap ...

  • I'm trying to be good.  It is not easy, but I am trying.  Every day, in every way, I am getting better.  We all say that, here at the Institute, and if we truly believe it, it may happen.

  • @couch potato: You have a great talent for posts, pity you withdrew your initial one here... I recently found out what makes me so physically fatigued all the time. It's not lack of vitamins and proteins; it is 'Crap', in all its guises. It exhausts me!

  • CĀ“mon guys. ItĀ“s just an internet forum, not more.

I never thought, that trolling would infect the VSL community, mainly because the library and topic is so special, but you never know.

We can be lucky, that William didnĀ“t leave, since he may be one of the most frequent and "senior" posters.

When anybody is feeling angry about some postings, just take a few minutes and enjoy the legendary JP22 thread in the recording forum [:D]

    Just epic comedy :)

"You are a disgrace to humanity and should be shot before you reproduce" ...

    "I don't own a tube amp! HAHA!"

"I CREATED THIS TOPIC YOUR IN RIGHT NOW AND ITS THE ONLY ONE I POST IN. Enough said, NOW GET THE HELL OUT OF *MY* TOPIC.

    "And furthermore my mother
    isn't a hermaphroditic crack-smoking **** queen."

Compared to that, I think what happens here is rated PG 13...

So - just enjoy the evening and put in some EQ for the lost dynamics....[;)]

    Cheers

    kh

I have reposted my initial post ericos , just for you .....

  •  Hey!   That's not your original post.    Why didn't I do what everyone does to me and copy it before it was deleted?

Oh, and all this time I thought that my profundity herein had been proffered for poster(ior)ity...

  • Somehow I have the feeling that these internet words, like vinyl plastic in a landfill, may last far too long, simply due to the Irony of Life, and torment the people who uttered them to the end of their days.

btw couch potato, do you know anything about a guy here who went by the user name "terminator" ? I remember him being the last poster on a thread that was immediately closed, and I was impressed by his prowess.

  • Sunshine, clear sailing, happy cloud, Ranibow in the sky, smiling face ....

  • I really like this guy...

  •  Couch potato, you edited that post and I again did not record the pertinent information. I never learn!   But this was crucial information  for all Forum members, considering the different 'taters involved.

  • Yes we're trying to get Notater out of jail at the moment....

About CPE's flute concerto that phillip just incredibly finished. At exactly 3:10 to 3:30 CPE uses the organ's harmonics and plays these overtones that can only be gotten from this large concert type of organ. VSL's organ is that very thing. I tried getting it from other organ's but it cannot be achieved from any other but from this large organ only... Go VSL What a great instrument. And this flute concerto is the best sounding and mixed accomplishment we've ever heard up to date. Not to mention the mastery of the Bach weaving tradition and compostion. Perfect music. I'm gonna be listening to it for a while for reference. . Thank's phillip. Absolute masterpiece ...

  • William you're right about the flute by the way. It almost sounds like the correna flute on the organ which it was created from. Its mixed so good with the rest of the weave.
