I am about to order the parts for a 3930k slave PC. I would like to avoid buying a Windows 7 OEM license and then again pay full price for Windows 8. So, being a cheapskate I am thinking of running the Windows 8 Consumer preview on the slave until the official Windows 8 release.
Has anyone tested VE Pro and the Vienna Instruments on Windows 8? I'm sure the VSL programmers have...
I'd like to know if this is a wise course of action or should I just purchase Windows 7?

I am using it on a daily basis (release preview or what its called of Win8) and have no other problems than those i had in Win7.
In my oppinion it works just as good in Windows 7 as it idoes in Windows 8. Maybe even a bit better as i seem to get more free RAM in Win8 that in Win7.
