    Hi,

    VE Pro 5 in Cubase 6.5 Windows 7 intel core.  So the problem is, when running VE pro in cubase I'm getting  no sound unless I minimize the VE window.  Then it's fine.  If the VE window isn't minimized I get no sound.  Also the volume meters on whatever channel I'm on don't show any volume is getting to the instrument.  When I minimize VE it's fine.  Makes it hard to tweak and check sounds, verb etc.  any help would b appreciated.

     Make sure that "Release driver when in background" is not checked in the Devices menu in Cubase.
