Had to go back to 5.1.11262. OS X 10.7.4, Pro Tools HDX 10.2.0, DAE error -9105

VEP Audio Input 5.1.11548 doesn't work with Pro Tools
-
Nobody else seen this? I had a session with live strings routed to the same MIR-stage as the sampled strings. When I was going to mix this project, I had to reinstall the previous version (5.1.11252) .

We have a similar rig on one of our Macs, but haven't had this issue yet.
Pro Tools 10.0.1 / OSX 10.6.8 Snow Lepard / 12 core Mac Pro / 96gigs of RAM
I'm not a fan of OS upgrades unless or until a have to, but that's just me.
I almost upgraded Pro Tools to 10.2.0 just yesterday as it reminded me it was available. (Perhaps I should count my blessings)
I do update all VSL products right away, so we do have the latest VEP 5.1.11548.
I do hope this is solved soon as MIR in VEP 5.1.11548 has presets for Dimension Violins and I'm sure you'd like to utilize those.
Good luck.

Thank you! It seems as the Dimension Strings patches still works now that I stepped back to the previous version of VEP.
-
Thank you Karel. As you probably have noticed already, the plugin doesn't instantiate at all.
-
Hakan,
So the sample patches are working for you. What about the MIR Dimension Violins presets?
-
That was my original point... And I'm sure as a proud owner of the new Dimension Violins he'll want those.
-
Just confirming the obvious - that the MIR presets are gone after reinstalling 5.1.11262. When can we expect an update/bug-fix?
Thanks, Hakan
-
Probably not as the latest VEP 5 hasn't been updated since this thread opened.
Confirmation that it's fixed by the next update would be nice.

Any progress on this? I have some current projects where I mix Sampled strings with real players, close miced in a small room, that I need to put inside MIR.
