  • Vienna Suite and slave computers....

    Hi there,

I'm wondering if there is any way I can get my Vienna Suite to work on more than one computer? I am currently beginning to use my Octo core Mac Pro as my main computer and slaving my Mac Book Pro, but it seems I only have one Vienna Suite license to share between the two computers which means that I can't use the suite on the various set-ups I have. Do I have to purchase a whole new license, or is there some way that it can be duplicated so that all my Vienna Ensemble Pro instances can utilise the plug-ins on whichever computer? It would be very useful.

    Thanks.

    Nick

  • There should be 3 licences. Check the email that you were originally sent for the extra licence numbers.

  • Hi Nick,

DG is right - and this page should contain all information you need to activate your remaining licences:

    -> http://www.vsl.co.at/en/68/141/788/1587/1241.htm

Note: You will need a second (or third) eLicenser-dongle as soon as you plan to use Vienna Suite on two or three machines simultaneously.

  • Thanks guys,

So I just checked the page and I seem to have only 1 'P' license and one 'D' license listed there. I have also just found my original packaging and will now enter the serial numbers for the other licenses!

    I feel dumb! [:$]

    Thanks

    N

  • Nick,

This may be a bit far fetched, but did you purchase Vienna Suite as a boxed set ?

If so, your serials are in the box. I could be wrong but I think you must generate each license manually in this case.

If you purchased Suite as a download, then as my friend DG said, you'll need to find that original email as it has all (3) activation codes.

If all else fails, I'm sure VSL can help if you send an email to support.....

Edit: I see you figured that out.   [:P]

  • Indeed, I did and have now fixed the issue. Thank heavens I didn't throw the box out! Serial numbers were there but I had not realised that they were three different licenses!

All good - working happily across two computers - soon to be three when I get myself sorted!

Thank you one and all - much appreciated.

    Nick

  • Yeah luckily their boxes a far too attractive to discard.

    Glad it worked out.
