  • VEP Has Garbled Names For AutoMap Wrapped Plugins - Unable to load exiting setups

In the latest version of VEPRo5, and version prior to that, all my automap have garbled names. Not only does this look ugly, all my existing projects no longer work. I have rolled back to version 5.1.11548 which has the correct naming. Has this issue been logged and/or can it be resolved? Thanks, Gari

  • HI Gaz1878,

Would you like to provide us with some more information? OS, used software and versions.....

    Thanks,

  • Sure, here you go: Mac OS X 10.8.2 Cubase 6.5 Automap 4.5 VEPro5 Build 5.1.11849 64-bit (Doesn't work) VEPro5 Build 5.1.11548 64-bit (Works)

  • I'm just checking in to see if there has been any progress with this issue?

  • Does it help to rescan your plugins in the VE Pro preferences?

  • No, re-scanning still has the same issue. Here are some examples: Play (Automap)-EW-EwPl Guitar Rig 5 (Automap)-NI-NiG5 Kontakt 5 (Automap)-NI-NiO5 Kore Player (Automap)-NI-NiKP All version after build 5.1.11548 have the extra text after the *(Automap) portion, which is causing the issues loading existing projects.

  • Is there an official channel to send in a support request to or is this forum it?

  • *bump*

  • Hei, I have the same problem, the only way to fixed is to uninstall the latest version of Vienna Ensemble Pro 5.1.12010 and use an older version Vienna Ensemble Pro 5.0.9753. Works OK for me... it is not the idea but it works. If you have any other solution to install the latest version... plese let me know Jorge
