  • Can't see Koncerthaus Organ listed any more - what have I done wrong?! Urgent help needed pleas...

Hi, apologies in advance for being such a numpty.

I have, amongst other things, the Special Edition Pt1 and 2 + extendeds.

I can see a lot of the Pt2 library - eg the guitars and saxophones, but not the organ, which I urgently need.

In the library manager I can see libraries 100 and 101, which have .dat files from 001 - 113 and 001 - 056.

I've moved my slaves around, so this hasn't been used on this mac before, but the libraries look the same as on the other slaves.

Can anyone guess what I'm doing wrong?

    Many thanks

    Hi Dru,

    Sorry to hear about this.

I've taken a look at your registration, eLicenser keys and licenses, everything looks fine here.

I'd make sure to update all your Vienna Symphonic Library software, as well as the eLicenser Control Center.

If that doesn't help, you might want to re-install the sample content (especially of the Special Edition Volume 2, since this Volumen includes the Konzerthaus Organ). If you don't have the DVDs, you can download the samples here.

    Hope that helps!

    Best,

    Stefan

  • Thanks for replying Stefan. I'm pretty up-to-date with my software versions, but I'll check (I have to update all the slaves as well...) and I'll try re-installing and report back.

I'm afraid, as I was in the middle of a rush job, I ended up downloading another organ and used that instead, but maybe next time...

    Cheers,

    dru

  • Hi Stefan,

I've now installed the latest VI Pro and re-installed the library, but I still can't see the organ. I have athe original disks, but I don't see a specific one for Vol 2. Is that the problem?

    Cheers,

    dru

    Hi Dru,

The Special Editions have been renamed, but that is not a problem ("SE Volume 2" was previously called "Special Edition Extended Library").

If you want to make sure that everything is fine, simply re-install all samples from your original DVD´s and apply the LIBRARY Updates.

    Best,

    Paul

  • Hi Paul,

Thanks for your reply. I have alrerady reinstalled everything, with no success, but I wasn't aware of the updater, which is almost certainly the problem.

I have downloaded it (twice), plus the latest version of the Download Manager, but it won't open and install the file as described in your instructions on the website.

    Please advise.

    Thanks.

  • Oh, Directory Manager, not Download Manager... I get it.

Your sounds are great, but you do like to make things complicated, don't you!

I'm still not seeing the organ though... I have to do something else now, so I'll take another look in an hour or so and report back.

  • Hello Dru,

The DOWNLOAD Manager takes care of the Downloads.

The DIRECTORY Manager takes care of the Samples stored (in various directories).

The best idea is probably to send me some screenshots of what you see: Directory Manager, Sample Content Folders, your VI interface.

    Please send to

I´m sure that we can work it out!

    Thanks,

    Paul
