    With the Recorders (tenor), I find that G#5 and A5 (middle C = C4) have a rather thin character (almost violin like) that none of the other notes have.  This is the same with all articulations for the Tenor recorder.

    Was this an issue with the instrument used to record the library,  or is this an odd characteristic of a tenor recorder in general?

    I notice the Soprano recorder has  a slightly similar effect on D#6 and E6.   So maybe this is just a recorder thing....
