I know by now that this option is not provided by the software itself (except for from the stand-alone-version, but I need to run the slave-version for all the other reasons that I run VE Pro 5 for). But I'd like to input additional audio from my sound card at the VE Pro-Slave (say, from some neat synths that I still own). I don't want them to be double-looped through the host and also want to spare audio tracks in the host computer. So in addition to all the magic that VE-Pro 5 can already do for me, I'd also like it to input the source from the soundcard (and process, of course). Yes, the soundcard in the slave is fully synced via word-clock to the whole system.
Does anybody have a workaround for this? I've been extensivly looking for VSTi that can directly grasp audio from the soundcard. But no luck so far.
Any advice is much appreciated!
