    I am using the Dimemsion Strings in Logic with VI Pro build 2.3.11859.  The presets will load correctly, but the Matrix files will not.   I get a greyed out Matrix, and there are no sounds.  Other matrix files in different, (non-Dimension) instruments load correctly, and the matrix files load correctly in the standalone mode.   Does anyone have any idea of what I am doing wrong?   (I don't want to load a whole preset if  can avoid it, in order to conserve memory.  Many thanks for any suggestions.

    Hello wilbur,

    I think you just stumbed over a feature of VI PRO, it loads VI PRO Presets and Matrices with disabled cells.

    Click on a cell, this will enable it (load the samples in the background).

    Right-click on a matrix (in the matrix list to the left), you can "enable" the whole matrix.

    In "Settings" (the icon left to the Basic/Advanved View), you can also enable the whole instance and find additional options (like "Force Enabled Cells").

    Thanks very much, that solved the problem.  That's what happens when you don't read the manual thoroughly!
