I am brand new to VE Pro and am setting up my orchestral template in Logic. I just transitioned away from using Plogue Bidule as my host. So far I have two workflow irritations...
1) I like to name my various VE Pro Instances so I can see them clearly in the Server List. I've found that every time the VE Pro Server disconnects with Logic (for instance when I open a new file with the same setup), I lose the names of the Instances in the Server list and they are all identical (Vienna Ensemble...connected local host). Why aren't those names retained when disconnecting from one file to another?
2) The other thing that happens is that VE Pro opens windows for every Instance when I open a new file. I would rather they stay closed and just see them in the Server list and open them when necessary. Any way to make this happen?
It's my first day with the program so i hope this is an easy fix...
