  • (Solved)Vienna Ensemble PRO 5 doesn't want to work for me.

Hello everyone, I'v already asked the question on Nov 11 2012 19:57 but I must to repeat as want to use the software VE PRO 5. In the Manual/Quick Start 1) Launch Vienna Ensemble Pro Server or Vienna Ensemble Pro Server (64-bit) Starts 64-bit Server where under Instances: It is empty and when I ADD an Epic Orchestra and click to preserve, I get This instance has no active connections and will be deleted immediately with all unsaved data lost. Do you want to continue? 2) In your sequencer, insert Vienna Ensemble Pro as a VST/VST3/AU/RTAS instrument 3) The Server Interface will open. Click Connect and choose 127.0.0.1 localhost [32] (NEW) or 127.0.0.1 localhost [64] (NEW) It is noting to choose. It just empty too. 4) A new instance of Vienna Ensemble PRO appears – and you can start exploring right away. What I did wrong MacBook Pro 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3,AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB,Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63) Logic PRO 9, VSL products.

  • there is no preserving an instance unless it's connected to a DAW/sequencer. there is no reason for it, the reason is to move from project to project in the DAW while remaining with the one VEP template.

  • Thanks civilization 3 for replay. Does it means that I should just open Vienna Ensemble Pro Server (64-bit) before a sequencer and after go and open sequencer, select VEP, click to connect, click to preserve, type for example Epic Orchestra and work? Is it correct scenario?
