    Hi all, i just arrive in VI world by little door (VSE vol1 / i own a lot of VSTi from others company) but i must admit theses are really wonderful instruments... i was looking to try VE Pro and see if i may need it (only 1 machine: on my MacPro), but i may miss something: impossible for me to understand how to open my project in Cubase 6.5... so after 5 try... or i suicide myself (too young ;)only 54 :) or i may accept that i am a complet idiot :( as i understand Cubase in 6 days, i don't think so ;) or if someone may explain me what i do wrong... i dream just to try it ! (forgive my poor english) regards thanks in advance for your help and/or advices (be kind with an old man :) rv when i open everything (x64) in Cubase 6.5 (two VE instances x 16 instruments + Kontakt +Trilian/Omni+Ptq+Play= no problem at all (power left 92,7%) Mac Pro 10.6.8 (8cores) 20 Giga RAM (x64) 3 project files first instance: Vi (16 insts) second: Vi (16 insts) third instance: Trilian (Contrebasse)+Pianoteq 4 Pro (harpsichord)+Play : Gypsy SoloViolin1Master+1soloViolin+18 Violins Master+9 Bass master+10Violoncels Master+10 Altos Master+ Kontakt: VD Piano+SM Saxophone+SM Trumpet+ PS Cibalom

    Page 66 of the manual has a step by step setup for Cubase 6.  That should help get you going.

    of course... you understand that i have read all and see all training videos about it. it is clear that i do not understand/miss something somewhere, but: what... my 3 diferent instances are ready to be open, i open VE Pro server before opening Cubase, i open Cubase, load VE Pro, but no instance appear to choose... thanks for your patience

    Hi cgernaey, i thank you very very much for the video you made for me, it is really nice from you. i finally (shame on me) find what i forgot , in Preferences : "Advertise on local host" ... that is why nothing appear in the window... i do not remember exactly how to write : i am a moron :) :) :) thank you again for your kindness, Regards, Amicalement Votre
