    I just saw your update on MIR and I am kind of irritated. MIR Pro 24 (including room pack 1) was priced at 395 Euro before. Now the same product combination costs 495 Euro (when the current offer has ended). Does this mean that the price was raised by 100 Euro or do I misunderstand something?

    Hi Knechtodawas,

    Generally, we wanted to make our Vienna MIR PRO and MIR PRO 24 products more flexible. Because of the previous pricing, some combinations are now available at a better price (especially now with our current promotion in April), while with some combinations the total is higher.

    Please don't forget that our RoomPack 1 was the only available RoomPack for Vienna MIR PRO at first, so it made sense to sell it as a bundle. Now our baby got bigger with the additional RoomPacks. 😊

    I'd like to take this as an opportunity to show how you can benefit from the new flexibility and the new prices:

    --> If you're not interested in the Konzerthaus (RoomPack 1, 195€) but rather want to start with RoomPack 2 (Studios & Sound Stages, 245€) along with the smaller Vienna MIR PRO 24 (235€), the price in April is only 245€ + 235€ = 480€, until now you had to pay 245€ + 395€ = 640€ to get Vienna MIR PRO 24 and RoomPack 2, so your savings are 160€!

    --> Let's alter the above scenario a little bit: If you want to start with The Sage Gateshead (RoomPack 4, 165€) instead of the Konzerthaus (RoomPack 1) along with Vienna MIR PRO 24, you can actually get RoomPack 2 for only 5€ more (235€ + 245€ + 165€ = 645€) than what you had to pay until recently for Vienna MIR PRO 24 and RoomPack 2 (see above scenario).

    --> If you purchase the "original" Vienna MIR PRO 24 Package (including RoomPack 1) now, you pay 35€ more than before (235€ + 195€ = 430€), that's correct.

    --> However, here's another scenario how you can save quite some money: the old price for Vienna MIR PRO 24 and all four RoomPacks without promotional prices was 1,040€. The same products can now be purchased (with our new, discounted RoomPack Bundle) for only 800€, which equals savings of 240€!

    Lastly I'd like to mention that we will include a new room to RoomPack 2, Recording Studio Weiler, free of charge for existing users and new users in April!
    Also, you can now check out all RoomPacks with the newly available demo licenses (procedure documented here). 😊

    I'd like to be totally clear on one point:

    I already have MIR & VE PRO, including the Konzerthaus Roompack.

    If I update MIR to any newer software version, I get to keep the Roompack? Hopefully nothing is lost.

    To be honest, I'm not surprised to see the new pricing. While it may be true that there are some situations where the new pricing is higher, don't forget that there is such a thing as inflation, and that the age of many VSL products in no way dictates their value. Can't think of many other software products that age as well as VSL's. Personally, I like when products are a bit more fragmented so I can buy just the ones that pertain to me, so I'm glad VSL seems to like doing things that way too.

    We own MIR 24 & VE PRO, including the Konzerthaus Roompack and have upgraded to MIR Pro (unlimited) today, but I can't find download in the User Aria of the Konzerthaus Roompack any more - just a trial version. Will the current user get the licence number for the Konzerthaus Roompack? How the system knows that this is not a trial version.

    How about doing a 2,3 & 4 roompack bundle price for all of us who bought the original MIR Pro? Much as I'd like to add those to my collection I obviously don't need to buy RP1 again! Cheers Simon

    Hello, There is one point that is not totally clear for me : I am a MIR PRO 24 user (and when I bought it, I had the Roompack 1 "for free"). If I upgrade to MIR PRO FULL, should I have to buy the Roompack 1 ?

    No, you don´t have to  buy RoomPack 1, we will provide you with a free license for RoomPack 1 in the beginning of may.
