    With the current news about MIR not containing the first roompack anymore I really do wonder why the Roompack 1 download option is gone for users who purchased MIR Pro before the new policy. Is this a technical issue right now and will this be fixed?

    Hi Rolf,

    Your existing RoomPacks will work just fine with MIR PRO, and your User Area will be available again on May 1st, just like Herb posted here.

    If you need to install your RoomPacks again until then, please contact , we´ll be happy to help you!

    I wrote your sales team yesterday too because I honestly was a little bit worried that this might affect me somehow. I thought the Roompack will stop functioning as full any time now. I really have to admit that MIR Pro ist probably the most useful mixing tool available for orchestra and can really spoil a person. It makes workflow so much easier so it really became an integral part of my work. Just one last question Mr.Paul. In case I need a replacement license in a worst case scenario does that license for MIR Pro still include the Roompack 1? Im just curious and always like to know things in advance. Thank you.

    The MIR PRO license will only work for the software MIR PRO. RoomPack 1 will have its own license (and we will provide you with it, in time).

    Yes Herr Steinbauer, honestly I see no reason for other reverb software to exist anymore with MIR Pro available, setting a new standard. Anyways, I see, so right now Roompack 1 works without a license. Thats great, but we existing users will have to upgrade to the new Roompack later on right? (since a licensing has been applied) I assume it will be free of charge then?

    Yes, the license and upgrade is free of charge.

    This information is also included in the small print below RoomPack 1 on the Limited Time Offer Information page.

    Thanks for the clarification. I was quite concerned last night because I bought Room Packs 2 through 4 individually, and it was only $13 less than buying the full suite, but I wasn't sure until now whether my Room Pack 1 would still work and whether I should have bought the Bundle instead.

    Now I know I can rest easy that I did the right thing, and that we'll receive new/permanent/unbundled Room Pack 1 licenses in a few days. I'm too busy recording right now to do final production work for a week or so anyway, so will not be messed up if I'm in limbo for a few days on Room Pack 1. Right now though, it works in my just-installed updated to MIR PRO 24.
