  • Vienna Imperial: midi Sensibility problem

Hello, Sorry for my bad insglish, i'm French. I've just bought and installed Vienna Imperial on my computer, and after a short test, i've a problem of MIDI sensibility. I use my acoustic piano as Master Keyboard, with a Magic Star System. in fact, if i increase the "global MIDI sensitivity" to be able to play pianissimo, i can't play FFF, and Conversely. Not possible to access all the dynamic Range. I don't see any midi's curve parameter, so i've no Solution. Do you think my Keyboard is not properly Calibrate ? is somemone use a Magic Star as Keyboard here ? With the pianoteq demo i've not this problem, it's playabled.

  • Hello arnoparigo,

Did you check in the Velocity Histogram of the Imperial, which notes you are actually sending, or did you test with a MIDI track?

Which host are you using, on which OS?

  • The problem is the same in standalone mode or in cubase. I'm under windows 7. I Check the velocity histogram of the vienna during i play myself on my piano, not with a midi file. The fact is i can't access to all the velocity range, i'm limited to a part of it. It's unplayable !!

  • Hi arnoparigo,

Please send such a Cubase Song to , simply record what you´re playing when you are trying to access the highest velocities.

    Thanks,

    Paul
