    Hi all, 

    I'm trying to set up VE PRO 5 as a slave. I have VE PRO 5 Server open on both computers, with an instance of Kontakt 5 loaded on the slave. 

    Midi is successfully getting from my keyboard input on the Master to VE PRO, as the indicators on both VE PRO and Kontakt show. I'm not getting any sound though. 

    However, if I trigger the samples from within the Kontakt window on the Slave, it plays on the master. 

    Anyone able to help?

    Hi, 

    That sounds like the connection between master and slave is working. Did you try with Vienna Instruments in VE PRO (with Epic Orchestra) or with another virtual instrument?

    I assume that has something to do with the routing of Kontakt....

    Thanks for the fast reply Paul, 

    I've just tried it with a VI patch, and that works! So I'm sure you're right about it being a Kontakt routing thing. Is there anything I should do as standard within Kontakt for VE PRO setup?
