Yes, it's truely hard waiting for the next part of this excellent library to be released. To tide ourselves over this hard times I thought that another demo of the superb possibilities of this orchestra might ease our yearning. Here is an interpretation of Peter Warlock's "Capriol Suite": Peter Warlock: Capriol Suite It was produced directly from my notation program (Capella) via Vienna Ensemble and the Vienna Instruments PRO Player, with just a small resonance EQ of the Vienna Suite for the Violins (to make it sound softer in the mid-heights), and the help of the chamber violas and basses. Reverb: Grosser Saal Near of the Wiener Konzerthaus (I like it) . This piece is especially suited for testing of such a library because it requires a lot of divisi, one of the main strengths of Dimension Strings. This demo shows unequivocally that the Dimension strings can truely "stand on their own feet". (I know, of course, that playing it with a real DAW could enhance the output quality, but I like notes much more than tracks [though I have a DAW, I don't like its score editor] ...) Have much fun!

Hi, November is just around the corner, hopefully so is Dim-Violas It would be great if they are released during Nov. Looking forward to this release. All The Best, Muziksculp

My money is on March of 2014. It took 9 months between the release of the Violins and Cellos. Assuming that editing takes roughly the same amount of time, I can't forsee the Violas being released before the end of the year. That's just my two cents. But, I would love to see the Violas be released before the end of the year. It would be a really nice surprise!

That means 9 months X 4 = 36 months = 3 years for a strings library to be completed Hope it won't take another 9 months between the rest of the releases.

I don't know how VSL works, but I do remember reading that they didn't expect the remaining sections to take as long, as the process would be more streamlined than for the first Dimension releases. I wonder will the size of the remaining sections make any difference -there are only four basses, for instance.
Cubase (OS agnostic). Various VSL bits and pieces.

True about the streamlined production, but I still am having a hard time believing that the Violas will be released before the end of the year. Hey, I could be dead wrong. In a perfect world, we'd have the Violas and Basses before 2014. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Here's the wishful thinking!

Time moves pretty fast ... believe it or not, 2013 is about to end. So ... are we going to be lucky enough to see Dim-Strings (Violas, and/or Bases) released before 2014 arrives ? Any feedback on this ? Thanks, Muziksculp
