  • VEpro 5 on Multiple Screens

Hello, I have a mac pro running 3 monitors and 1 TV simultaneously. Whenever I seem to load my VEpro 5 template, no matter how I save its configuration in the metaframe, it seems to spread all my instance windos, to different screens. I want them all to be set to go tot full screen on my far left monitor. So I save it that way, and then I open my metaframe and all the VEPRO 5 windows are scattered. Does anyone know what I'm doing wring? How do I control the windows and tell them to stay all in full screen on my far left monitor? Thank you VERY MUCH!!!!

  • I'm having the same issue. I'm using Windows 8 and Cubase 7 but no matter what I do VEP always opens on my third display. I want VEP instances to hide behind the project window on my main display instead of cluttering the third display that is reserved for mastering and analysis plugins. I've tried everything I can think of in both VEP and Cubase but can't seem to be able to fix the problem.

  • I also disabled my secondary and tertiary display forcing VEP to open on the primary display. Even after that and a reboot VEP is back on the third display. This I tested without Cubase adding the VEP instance from the server. Even the window position is exactly the same so this is clearly an issue with the VEP and not Cubase.

  • I would get this occasionally with windows 8 but recently after updating to 8.1 many of my programs are loading on the wrong monitor which makes it extremely hard to grab if that monitor is off and in another room like mine. Dam inconvienient I say - probably a microsoft issue though. It would be nice if VEPpro had a key command for switching monitors on an extended desktop.

  • It seems that Windows remembers the location of the Server but the problem remains that the Server creates the VEP instances on the wrong screen and there currently doesn't seem to be a way around it. This can't be random. There should be some kind of "Save GUI positions" setting.
