    Everything worked fine last night. This morning when I went to open Logic, I got no sound from VSL. I downloaded and installed the latest version of Instruments and Ensemble. Still the same issue. When I play the file in Logic, I see green lights on the mixer in Ensemble, so I know it's receiving data from the DAW, but it isn't producing sound and it won't let me toggle to the instrument editor.

    What audio interface do you use ?

    Hi Cyril. I use a Mackie Onyx board with a firewire interface. I get the same issue using the Mac's internal speakers though, so I don't believe it's related to the interface. BTW, I'm on a mid-2011 iMac 2.8GHz i7 running system 10.7.5.

    Also, I don't know if this is pertinent or not, but Vienna Instrument runs fine. The problem is exclusive to Ensemble. I'm working with all other applications closed, so I don't think that's an issue either. I've also restarted the computer a few times today in hopes that it would correct itself.

    I had quite the same problem, it was my Audio/midi configuration.

    Have a look in you Audio/midi utiity to see if all volumes are on maximum

    Just checked, and the volume is up. Besides, I don't think the Audio/MIDI configuration could affect the fact that I can't toggle to the instrument editor screen, could it? The problem really appears to be unique to Ensemble. Instrument works, as do all of my other plugs and the internal Logic instruments.

    It depends is you use the same audio tracks !

    On my Motu system I had in "Midi Audio" some tracks with volume set to zero ! in Logic and in VSL there where at 127 !

    It took me quite a while to figure that out !

    Hello - just wondering if you ever figured this out. I'm having the same problem in Pro Tools with ve pro 7 on Mac Catalina.

    ps: it's not my audio/midi setup. that's all fine - as is vienna instruments. it's an ensemble problem. about to reinstall ve 7 software and see if it does anything

    No idea, but if I saw that I would delete some preferences _and_ reinstall; the won't toggle to another view is a sign of corruption.
