  • ViennaInstruments not offered to load in Ensemble Pro

I've a freshly installed Win7. I'm using Ensemble Pro 4.1.11889 and Vienna Instruments 4.1.10738 (for Epic Orchestra). Ensemble knows the plugin-folders (it tests Vienna Instruments), but I can't add it to Ensemble. The Channel -> Add VSTi - menu is empty.Shouldn't I be able to load ViennaInstruments here?

  • Hi stefa_n,

Vienna Instruments are integrated in Vienna Ensemble PRO, you should be able to add them via the VI button in the lower left corner of VE PRO.

  • Thanks for that hint. I found this button in the manual, but not in Ensemble Pro itself. So my question changes to: What may be the reason, that the VI-button is missing? I see Vienna Instruments on the e-Licenser (together with Epic Orchestra, copied it from another dongle). And I can start it standalone.

    Hi stefa_n,

I overlooked that you are using an old version of Vienna Instruments. Please install the latest version and everything will work.

  • Hi Paul, You're right, it works with the latest version (5.3.12844). Thanks for your fast replies. I was confused about Vienna Instruments and Ensemble being the same download. Using still VE Pro 4 I thought this would collide. (hmm, for some reason the forum-software ignores my linebreaks...)
