    Hey so Dmstrings is maxing out voices on my slave system (VEP) and I am getting clicks pops and drop outs. I've played with latency settings in my daw and nothing changed. I also monitored the Network and there's no bottleneck there. 

    They are stored on a black caviar HDD. If I store them on a SSD will this allieviate the issue at all?

    I have the Vframes set up as Violins, Violas etc. I tried splitting it up ie. Violins 1, Violins 2, Violas 1, Violas 2 but it still didn't appear to make a difference.

    I can't actually run DS using "normal" drives for exactly the reason you state. SSD should make all the difference. Mine don't arrive until next week, so I won't be able to confirm until then.
