    Dear VSL-team,

    I really hope I'm not the first (or only) one who's a little bit upset with the categorization of your Vienna Suite plugins.
    It seems like there is no subfolder for your plugins embedded, so all the VSL plugins appear straight out in its full pride next to other "folders/categories".

    Strange enough, I don't really get, why there is no "VST3"-icon next to the plugin names, eventhough only the vst3 versions are installed?

    Hello Freigeist,

    What you're seeing here are in fact the VST2 versions of Vienna Suite plug-ins (... which is exactly why there's no VST3-sign ;-) ...).

    VST3 plug-ins will be sorted automatically according to their respective categories. VST2 plug-ins ("..... x64") can be sorted manually (e.g. inside a folder "Vienna Suite", or manually in the "Dynamics", "EQ" etc. sub-folders of your VST folder).

    If you don't want to see VST2 on your system you can either hide them in a folder which Cubase/Nuendo won't look into, or you delete/unsinstall them.

    That's embarrassing... I don't get how I could have overlooked that...
    However, thanks for the fast reply.

    I just "deactivated" all .dll Plugins, but I actually would have preferred to have all of the plugins together in a VSL folder.

    Anyways, better than before... :)

    Like I wrote in my previous reply - just create a folder manually, name it "VSL" or "Vienna Suite", move the VST2-DLLs into it, and you'll find them under one headline (... just make sure that the path to this folder is known to Cubase). 

    The VST3 plug-in standard doesn't allow for manual re-organization, sorry to say - nothing our software engineers can do about it. Vienna Suite plug-ins have to reside under the standard "EQ", "Dynamics" etc. headers.

    ... chances are that Steinberg will include an additional "Group by manufacturer"-feature in a future update of the VST3-standard (.... or is it already ...?)

    Cubase preferences have 'Sort VST Plugins by Vendor' in VST/Plugins, actually.

    So - this is Cubase 5.5.3 - having done, in for instance the Plugins list, Audio menu, there is VSL vs Vienna Symphonic Library, the latter being VST3.
