here's an orchestral track of mine:  https://soundcloud.com/eironic/rising-castle.

I'd greatly appreciate any feedback/ constructive criticism.

Very good arrangment and performance shaping. The whole could use more spatial depth and ambience, especially in brass and woodwinds.

Hmmmm... I like the way you change instruments fairly frequently, phrase by phrase, and the mood change halfway through is great. I also think you have a good variety of rhythms in a short space, and I felt like your panning achieved good placement for each instrument.

The only critiques I can give are slight: I personally like a little more reverb in my pieces, and here and there I thought you could have more dynamic contrast, pulling back for the softer sections, and crescendoing nicely into the louder sections when you add instruments.

That's my two bits. Liked and following on soundcloud!

Add more reverb and some better panning. It lacks dynamic contrast. For instruments that are further away EQ out the frequencies that are responsible for the presence. Make it harmonically richer with various chords and inversions etcetera. Add sparingly some dissonance every now and then to . Give each instrument a better place in the frequency spectrum. Add some more "highs" such as a piccolo flute or something of your choice. The ending is too short as it contains no proper release or delay.

Just a few basic ideas I have. Good luck.

Well done! I also endorse the reverb and panning recomendations.
That kind of reminded me some of Caesar's game soundtracks and other strategy games... is it for a upcoming project?
