Hi, I started with VSL almost a year ago and have really enjoyed the workflow and inspiration it gives. I have the SE1 bundle, SE 2 Stings and Strings+ and VI Pro. I have been considering the MIRx for VIP as the demo license i d/l really brought my arrangements together with the big room sound and positioning of the instruments. That works great if I'm only using VSL. Some music I work on I am using some elements of VSL but with other libraries, primarily sample modeling horn bundle and other Kontakt libraries. I've done a little reading up on Vienna Ensemble Pro and it mentions surround panning and balance. Would that mean that I can a Waves IR (convolution reverb) as an effect plugin, then use the surround function to get better placement? I don't mean to sound dense, I have used surround functions but not sure how this really works with VEP. I do know there is MIR Pro but that isn't in my budget at the moment but is on my list. Thanks in advance!
