  • HALion Sonic SE won't show up in VEP 5 Pro

    I am trying to host HALion Sonic SE in VEP5 Pro. I've added the following directory to the VST Plugins Folders: ---- C:\Program Files\Common Files\Steinberg\Shared Components\HALion Sonic SE ---- When VEP 5 Pro loads it shows that it's testing HALion Sonic SE so I can see that the plugin is detected. However, it never shows up on the list of available plugins so I can't access it from within VEP 5 Pro. Any help is greatly appreciated!

    I should add that I have Cubase 7.5 and whatever version of HALion Sonic came with that.

    As far as I know, the use of the bundled HALion SE / Sonic - versions is tied to the host, i.e. Cubase or Nuendo.  There's nothing VSL could so about it, sorry to say so.

    The full version of HALion will open in VE Pro without problems.
