  • VEP Not recognizing Mixdown

    Hello there!

This problem has been bothering me for some time, but I'm not sure it's VEP.  I'm running Windows 7 on an i7, 32GB RAM.  I'm using Sonar X3 and on my latest project, the export audio is too fast, and the resulting track is very choppy and unrecognizable.  The previous project has no problem, so I'm not sure exactly what seems to be happening.  All I know is that when I do try to export the audio, the MIXDOWN feature doesn't apper in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.  Any information would be useful.  Thank you!

    Best,

    Jeff Strong

  • What happens if you export in real time or even record to an audio track. Is it still wrong?

  • It still doesn't recognize the fact that it's a bounce or a mixdown.  I still have no idea why it's doing this.

  • Sonar X3 has a bug in its VST3 hosting, that makes mixdown/bounce unreliable. Switch to the VST2 version, which does not have this bug. I have notified the Cakewalk developers about this, and they have now fixed it for X4 (although I'm not sure if a fixed build is yet released).
