  • MIR Engine project problem

Hi all. I have problem regarding save/open arrangements in MIR 24. If I save my own MIR project, I am not able open it again. All instruments lost theirs positions and seting. Only venue type is as I expect, all other informations lost. I am using MIR Pro 24 (last revision ) in Cubase 7.5, W7 64bit. In case I save whole Cubase project and open it again, all is OK. But I would like to compare different settings directly in MIR, still without succes. Any ideas ? ( sorry for my english )

    Hello frantysek,

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. To have a closer look at this, it would be cool if you could send us one of those MIR projects and maybe also screenshots of the project before closing and after loading it. Please send everything to support@vsl.co.at.

    Thank you, Florian

    Hi Frantysek,

the *.mirep-files will never contain any instrument-specific information. An "engine project file" is meant to be used for storing and exchanging the settings used for a MIR-Venue itself, like the selected Main and Secondary Mic positions and setups, Room EQ settings and so on.

Instrument (= "MIR Icon")-settings are stored with the individual MIKR Pro plug-ins - as part of your DAW-session or VE (Pro)-Frame.

    Kind regards,
