Hi, What is the best way to vary the sounds (mostly loudness?) of a legato-detache combo set up in seq.map so they don't all sound the same? Ed Gold VSL Special Edition1, standard and plus, Konzerthaus Organ, Saxophones, Dimension Strings, VI Pro 1

You might get a more informed response if you mention which library you're talking about. I assume you're talking about Strings? In your tag line you mention DS and you have some Special Edition stuff so which library are you refering to?

Oh, sorry! In both the first and 2nd violins, I am using the App. Strings Vol. 3. 055 VI-20 legato alternating with 025 VI-20 detache. VSL Special Edition1, standard and plus, Konzerthaus Organ, Saxophones, Dimension Strings, VI Pro 1

Is the detache coming out louder than the legato? With regard to the Special Edition collections you are probably going to have to adjust the expression fader as you have limited velocity layers

That's about what I did by adjusting the sliders under the mixer area in the Pro window and it does work pretty well. VSL Special Edition1, standard and plus, Konzerthaus Organ, Saxophones, Dimension Strings, VI Pro 1
