VE 5 Pro and Logic X, some songs connect , some not

Hello ,

i have a MPB (17" i7 quad 2.4 Ghz , 10.9.4, 16GB ) and a Mac Mini ( Server I7 Quad 2.0,10.9.4, 16GB) running Logic 10.0.7 and

VE Pro 5.1333 . Network Connetion is set to manual ( the mac mini has Ip adress 192.168.1.2 ), elicenser is up to date , network and screen sharing is working ...

I open one Logic Song, which shows availiable Instance :192.168.1.2 mac-mini (64) (New )

and another ( which happens to be a " big " template for a recent project) shows no availiable instance at all ...

I tried importing all tracks into the "connecting " song but with no sucess ...

What can i do ? ( it worked stable in Logic 9 and Os 10.7 ... )

How are they connected ? by direct cable or by switch or by the router ?

the 2 computers are connected with a direct cable,

i did not suceed with your method , i got an ip number 169.154.204.165 and mask nr number 255.255.0.0. but no router and no connection ...

( only the localhost Ve instance showed up ... )

since it works with an empty logic song and the manual ( 192 . ...... ) setting , i come to think its an issue of that particular ( big)  logic song but i don´t know how to find out
